Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada - December 4, 1984. Pilots take off with a F-16C Fighting Falcon at the U.S. Air Force Tactical Fighter Weapons Center. The U.S. Air Force Tactical Fighter Weapons Center, later renamed the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center in 2005, was founded in 1966 and manages advanced pilot training, concentrating in development of weapons systems.
