Andre Malraux Visits US

Virginia, USA - February 15, 1972. André Malraux visits the gravesite of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, in Arlington National Cemetery. He also met and consulted with American President Richard Nixon before leaving for China. André Malraux (November 3, 1901 - November 23, 1976) was a French art theorist, novelist, he wrote the 1933 Prix Goncourt winning novel La Condition Humaine, and was the Minister for Cultural Affairs during Charles de Gaulle's presidency from 1959 - 1969.
