Legendary figure living in New York City from 1940 to 1970,  Louis Hardin (1916 to 1999) alias “The Viking of Sixth Avenue”, alias “Moondog” stood 24 hours a day at the corner of 6th Avenue and 54th Street. He was dressed as a Viking. This strange character was in fact a blind composer, extremely well known in the music industry and was a friend of Arturo Toscanini, Leonard Bernstein, Benny Goodman and more. Moondog created hundred of compositions in Braille and died in Germany in 1999.
