An excited crowd gazes up to the sky as Apollo XI hurtles towards the moon.  On the morning of July 16, 1969 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin piloted the Apollo XI into space to achieve probably the most historic moment in Space exploration history. Four days later, after entering the lunar orbit, the two touched down in the ‘Sea of Tranquility’ and Armstrong famously uttered the first words ever spoken by a human on the moon, ‘One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind’ as he stepped on the moon’s surface. <br />

Il est 9h32 du matin la fusée qui va porter la capsule Apollo XI sur la lune vient de partir. Les gens la regardent s’élever, enthousiastes, ils hurlent de joie ! Quatre jours plus tard le 20 juillet Armstrong prononcera cette phrase restée dans les mémoires… “C’est un petit pas pour l’homme mais un pas de géant pour l’humanité“.
