March 9, 1989, Casablanca, Morocco. Zelige making is a traditional Moroccan art craft. Small pieces of ceramic tiles are cut,  and put together in a vast variety of geometrical patterns to form the final piece as it is here shown by a craft master. It was widely used for the decoration of the Hassan II Mosque. The mosque was completed in 1993.
